Complementary Colors

WHAT IS COMPLEMENTARY COLOR?
A secondary color that, when combined with the primary color whosewavelength it does not contain, produces white light.

Triadic Colors

  1. WHAT IS TRIAIC COLOR?                                              Triadic color scheme. Examples: The triadic colorscheme uses three colors equally spaced around the color wheel. This scheme is popular among artists because it offers strong visual contrast while retaining balance, and color richness.

Split Complementary Color
  1. WHAT IS  SPLIT- COMPLEMENTARY COLOR?
The split-complementary color scheme is a variation of the complementary color scheme. In addition to the base color, it uses the two colors adjacent to its complement. This color scheme has the same strong visual contrast as the complementary color scheme, but has less tension.

Colour Harmony
  1. WHAT IS COLOR HARMONY?                                        Basic techniques for combining colors. Below are shown the basic color chords based on the colorwheel. Complementary. Colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel are considered to be complementary colors                             (example: red and green).

COLOR TONE
  1. A tone is produced either by the mixture of a color with gray, or by both tinting and shading. Mixing a color with any neutral color(including black, gray and white) reduces the chroma, or colorfulness, while the hue remains unchanged.

COLOR TINT
In color theory, a tint is the mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness, and a shade is the mixture of a color with black, which reduces lightness. A tone is produced either by the mixture of a color with gray, or by both tinting and shading.

Using color tone and color tint to create and artwork.

FINAL WORK

Do a playground by using analogous colour

WHAT IS ANALOGOUS COLOUR?
Analogous (uh-NAL-uh-gus) colors sit next to each other on the color wheel. They tend to look pleasant together because they are closely related.
